I have always known that I wanted to pursue a career in the helping professions.  I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology and worked for several years in a treatment foster care program at a local non profit agency.  After receiving my master's degree in social work, I shifted into a clinical role for the same agency, continuing to serve youth in treatment foster care.  I also worked as a clinician for an in home therapy program and an outpatient therapy clinic.  Following this, I worked as a school social worker in the public school setting with students in grades PreK through 12 until 2022 when I opened my private practice.
